Based in Spain and active in over 70 countries, we at SEAT are dedicated to producing cars that excel in design and radiate vitality and sporty character. Something we sum up as 'SEAT auto emoción'. Our own renowned technical centre, combined with the resources of the Volkswagen Group, give us access to some of the finest engineers, test facilities and motoring technology in the world. This will allow us to fulfil our aim of becoming the most unconventional, extrovert and athletic car brand around.

This allows us to combine brash, new methods and philosophies with the expertise and experience of more than 11,000* employees. Not to mention the additional resources and knowledge of the Volkswagen Group. The result? A radical new approach built on a solid base of specialised experience.*Excluding the staff of our Technical Centre

It goes without saying that extensive R&D is a vital part of creating vehicles fit for today and ready to face the future. Over 1,100 highly qualified people from various national backgrounds are at work at the SEAT Technical Centre in Martorell, Spain, 30km from Barcelona. Their task: to design cars that incorporate customers’ requirements and ideas and that will become part of the SEAT range over the coming years – all the while reducing development periods and production cost and increasing quality.
