When we innovate it’s always to create something which is not yet a reality. Here at SEAT we’ve been working on this idea. And it has a name: Ecomotive. Green and sporty? Why not? We at SEAT have created the perfect formula. Two concepts in one.  We’ve added eco-friendliness to sportiness. And the result? Here you have it, and what’s more with unbeatable looks: the new Ibiza Ecomotive. Everybody knows that the sum of two factors really does alter the product.

The new Ibiza Ecomotive is one of the greenest cars in its class. Its 80hp 1.4 TDI engine boasts a CO2 emission level of just 98g/km. An engine fitted with a DPF (Diesel Particle Filter) to reduce harmful particle emissions. We also reduced the Ibiza Ecomotive’s weight, making it leaner and therefore more eco-friendly.

And there’s more; it’s fitted with reduced-friction tyres and has an improved aerodynamics.

Your driving experience in the new Ibiza Ecomotive is as exciting as it is green. You´ll love its sporty style every time you drive it.

It is official: According to the influential German newspaper Bild am Sonntag, the new SEAT Ibiza Ecomotive is “the most economic car of its class in the world” with a fuel consumption of a mere 3.7l of diesel per 100km.

But that is not all that got the editor excited about our green racer, stating that the new Ibiza Ecomotive delivers in fact a brisker drive than its equally powerful sibling without fuel-saving ambitions. The potency of the new Ibiza Ecomotive also left an impression: It accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in only 12.9 seconds (0.2 seconds faster than the new Ibiza), and it has no problems reaching a top speed of 177km/h (again – 8km/h faster than the new Ibiza).
