The Red Bull Air Race World Series is the most exciting motorsports competition in the world in which the world’s best racing pilots pit their wits against each other using skill, precision and speed.
 
This unique competition features a dynamic new discipline of flying, called ‘air racing’ where the aim is to navigate a tough race course in the sky, in the fastest possible time, incurring as few penalty points as possible. Flying individually against the clock, the pilots have to execute tight turns, twisting and dominating their aircraft through a slalom course consisting of specially designed pylons, known as ‘Air Gates’. This is not a sport for the faint-hearted with the pilots hurtling round the course at speeds of up to 400 km per hour, low to the ground and experiencing forces reaching 10G while using their guile to fly these agile, lightweight planes round the most challenging circuits.
