Volkswagen takes on 99.99% of SEAT. Car number 8 million rolls off the tracks. This is transformation at its boldest.

1991

The SEAT Toledo, our first creation with Volkswagen, debuts at the Barcelona Motor Show. Innovation in progress.

1992

Official XXV Olympics Games partner and sponsor. 2000 cars to get organisers and athletes moving.

1993

Welcome, SEAT Cordoba. In addition, His Majesty King Juan Carlos I opens the Martorell plant, producing the 2nd generation Ibiza.

1995

Car number 10 million, a Toledo, has the honour of being driven first by His Royal Highness the Prince of Asturias.

1996

The year of the Ibiza CUPRA. Plus, the SEAT Ibiza Kit Car wins the FIA World Rally Championship, and the SEAT Alhambra debuts in Geneva.

1997

The SEAT Arosa says hello, with the SEAT Cordoba Vario. And another victory at the FIA World Rally Championship for the SEAT Ibiza Kit Car.

1998

The SEAT Cordoba WRC hits the track at the World Rally Championship, while the new SEAT Toledo captivates at the Paris Motor Show.

1999

New identity: blue & white become red & silver. The SEAT Leon comes up fast with a 180hp engine, 6-speed gearbox and 4-wheel drive.
