SEAT MÓ Scooter user
Under the effects of Regulation (EU) 2023/2854 (“Data Act”), any natural person —whether an individual or a fleet manager— who owns or is a legitimate user (e.g., lessee) of a connected SEAT MÓ eScooter and holds a valid connectivity service contract shall be considered a user of a SEAT MÓ eScooter. Specifically, this information applies to those who have an eScooter linked to the “My SEAT MÓ” mobile application (hereinafter, the “App”) through an active account and a valid connectivity contract.
During use of the eScooter, data related to its operation is generated and collected, such as vehicle lock status, battery level, distance traveled, or location. The collection and transmission of this data may be subject to technical limitations, such as the vehicle’s storage capacity or mobile connection availability.
The volume of data generated will depend on various factors, including the user’s usage behavior (e.g., kilometers traveled or frequency of use). This data is stored onboard the vehicle and transmitted to backend systems managed by SEAT CODE (SEAT Metropolis Lab Barcelona, S.A.U.). The backends are remote storage systems (cloud solutions) that may be provided to SEAT CODE by third parties.
The duration of data retention depends on the type of information. For more details, please refer to the privacy policy available in the App.
To access the data generated by their eScooter and the App, the user must send a request via email including the following information:
- Full name
- Valid identification document (ID card, passport, or equivalent)
- Phone number
- Email address
- Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) of the eScooter
The user must verify their identity and ownership or legitimate use of the eScooter (e.g., as owner or lessee), as well as the connectivity contract.
The data will be provided in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format. The volume of data provided will depend on the specific amount of information generated and the requested period.
The user may also request that the data be shared with a third party of their choice or revoke a previous sharing authorization. To do so, they must contact SEAT CODE through the same channel.
The user may request the deletion of the generated data, under the terms set out in the privacy policy, by submitting a request via the indicated email address.
For data protection reasons, requests may only be made regarding data associated with the user’s own account. Access to data linked to other users is not permitted.

In case of any breach of the Data Act, the user may file a complaint before the relevant local authorities, in accordance with Article 37 of the aforementioned regulation. The responsible local authority will be designated by the national government.
