SEAT CONNECT Legal Notice

This legal notice is in place to inform customers about the exclusion of liability and the applicable legal form. By reading this notice, you will be notified about many important aspects, including the legal form, the composition of the board, addresses and tax identification numbers.

You will have direct access to different aspects of the conditions and terms of SEAT, such as purpose and scope, intellectual and industrial property, modifications to the terms of use and scope of services of the web portal, service and warranty exclusion, responsibilities, severability, applicable law, competent jurisdiction courts, and more.

When you are activating your SEAT ID, you will have to agree to all of the points in the disclaimer. This will allow you to start using the SEAT CONNECT services and functions. The points include privacy policies, information about data collection, saving, sharing and removal, and the purpose of the collected data. There will be information about the My SEAT App terms and conditions as well.

Once the enrollment is finished, you will have access to legal texts and other relevant legal information about our services. They will be in the infotainment system and on the My SEAT App.

Through the infotainment system, you will have access to:

·       CONNECT Terms and Conditions

·       SEAT ID Privacy Policy

You can also access legal information through the My SEAT App. When you get into the system, you are going to be able to see information about the privacy policy of the My SEAT App, CONNECT terms and conditions, CONNECT general terms/legal notice, and third party licenses.

You can get a lot of benefits from the provided legal notice and information. This includes receiving regular updates about all the changes and new information that we have to offer under the applicable law. This means that every time we have a change in the terms and conditions or the applicable law, you will get notified immediately.

If you don’t speak English, don’t worry about a language barrier. The disclaimer is provided in all of the languages available in the infotainment system.

If you have issues with using the infotainment system in your native language, you can choose a different one for further information.

If you have questions about accessing the legal notice, just click on the “Legal Notice” option in the infotainment system menu - this will transfer you over to the legal texts. You can also get information on the My SEAT App. Just open the app, go to the main page, and click on the 3 dots on top. There, you will be able to see all the legal texts available.
