Emissions behaviour describes the property of an engine to control the quality of the exhaust gas during operation. Since the introduction of the EURO 3 Standard, all cars must have an on-board diagnostic feature (EOBD = Euro On-Board Diagnosis). The EOBD monitors all components relevant to emission control, such as the lambda probe or the catalytic converter.
If a malfunction occurs, a warning light will appear. Please consult a workshop in this case.
